Desperate times call for desperate recipes.
Albino-Bacon (sometimes know as Charred-Lard) is the fiasco of frugal shopping practices, putting price over palate! Spend a little more for Bacon that is Bacon, not just FAT! Savory slices of swine should have a 67/33 meat to fat ratio or better to even contemplate being called Bacon.
But who would turn down anything that even hints at BACONliciousness? Not I!
The trick to frying fat is pulling it from the fire before it totally dissolves into liquid Bacon. "Leave some chew in your stash before the crunch turns to ash." - Eleanor Roosevelt
Cut each slice into thirds, pop them in the pan, and prepare to see them shrivel and shrink as quick as a wink. Then fill a basket or bowl with these pretty little piggies and eat them like popcorn while watching a cinematic masterpieces like Babe, Porky's, or Charlotte's Web.
Lastly, be sure to save the grease for future recipes.

Wish me luck and share a smile today!
