The first step in beating frustration is recognizing the root cause, it can help you manage it and move on. When we're aware of why we feel a certain way, it helps us to make changes that can lead to more happiness and satisfaction in our lives.

Expectation Frustration – Are we expecting too much from ourselves and others?
Confrontation Frustration – Are we dealing with people without open minds?
Delegation Frustration – Are we being put under a great deal of stress by others?
Location Frustration – Are we surrounded by positive and agreeable people?

A – Apply Distraction Techniques
C – Cold Water will Cool You Down
O – Open up and Let it Out!
N – Note your Environment and Root Cause
Sometimes all it takes is a little bit of perspective. It's easy to get caught up in feelings of frustration, but if we take a step back and remember how small our problems are in comparison to the bigger picture, it can help us to shift our focus away from what's out of our control.
Remember that frustration is a normal emotion that most people experience at one time or another. Learning to recognize it and find ways to manage it is key to living a more peaceful and content life.
