The Bacon of Travel

We apologize for the little oops in the middle of this recording. We went on vacation in the middle of the show.

There are over 1200 cities (municipalities) in Illinois. There are 50 states in this country and almost 200 countries on this planet. There are things to see, places to go, and people to meet. Sure, you could read about all these places but there is nothing quite like visiting them in person.

We were born to be explorers, discover new lands, and learn from the people that inhabit them.

Where have you gone, what have you seen, and what have you done there that has created happy memories?

Close your eyes, tune in, and take a trip with us as we discuss the Bacon of Travel!

B – Break your routine and bring on the Happiness!

A – Anxiety and Depression Buster! Research shows that the benefits can lasts long after we return.

C – Creativity Booster, New experiences gets our brains cooking!

O – Overworked and need to recharge. It might take two-weeks!

N – New Things help us ALL grow! It’s a great way to learn about people!

According to a 5,000-participant study at the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, “Spending on Doing Promotes More Moment-to-Moment Happiness than Spending on Having.”

Things go in a box on a shelf, experiences create memories that can last a lifetime. So come on and take a trip with us!

Where are some of the impossible places that you would love to visit?

B – Bedford Falls and Bailey Park (It's a Wonderful Life)

A – Atlantis (under the Bermuda Triangle?)

C – Camelot (King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table)

O – Oz (What a cool place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.)

N – Naboombu (Bedknobs and Broomsticks, a Walt Disney Must-See)
