Year of the Bacon Tiger!

Happy Chinese New Year

We were living high on the hog in 2019 when it was the Year of the Pig. Then in 2020 we were tricked by the Rat and slapped with a worldwide pandemic. In 2021, the Year of the Ox we worked hard to rebuild. We’ve earned our stripes. Now it’s time for a fresh start. It’s our time to ROAR! 2022 is the Year of the Tiger.

What does that mean? What is the story of the animals? What is the significance of the Water Tiger? How do we attract good fortune and chase away bad luck?

Let’s dig into the lore, legends, and some incredible stories. And let’s set a path to an incredible year!

During the Lunar New Year Celebration

B – Be a Buddhist, don’t eat meat for breakfast (not even bacon!)

A – Avoid Sharp Objects, they attract evil spirits

C – Curb your anger, don’t invite the evil spirits (that’s always good advice).

O – Offer Fruit, Tea, Alcohol (Even amounts of money). Be Generous!

N – New Beginning, new moon, new chances! Let’s do this!

Join us as we discuss what is in store for us in 2022, the Year of the Tiger?
